A bride tossing her bouquet of flowers. Catego...

This is my last post.  I have mixed feelings about closing.  Focusing on what I love about being married has made me a happier person and wife.  I’ve enjoyed the family and dialog of marriage bloggers.  I set out to write a finite blog: 365 things I love about marriage.  Now finding myself at the end I’m sticking to the plan.

I asked my husband what I should do for the last post and he suggested sharing some of the things I learned.  As usual, he is a smart man. 🙂

1. Marriage is truly wonderful.

2. I really love my husband.

3. It’s hard to say goodbye.

4. I like blogging.

5. It sometimes takes 2 years to do a 365 blog!

6. I’m thankful for all your comments and support.

7. It feels good to keep a commitment whether it is marriage or blogging.

8. Lots of folks love marriage like I do.

9.  Blogs take a lot of time.

1. He should keep his mouth shut.

2. Things he says will end up on my blog and he won’t get any credit for it. 🙂

Congratulations on making your goal. I admire your willingness to end this blog because it was your goal from the outset. It’s important to know when to do something and even more important to know when to stop doing something you love. That takes a mature trust in God. Thank you for your example!
Blessings to you and your husband!

You are not the only one who learned from your blog. Thanks for sharing. The blog will sorley be missed but the lessons will always be in my heart. It was fun not knowing what to expect each day. Sometimes I laughed so hard, sometimes I was sad but mostly I grew as a woman, wife and friend. Not to say i am perfect far from it but at least I know i’m not alone.

    God speed.

Looking forward to following you on Bunny rabbits and butterflies or vice versa. Ta Ta my good friend.

Better late than never I guess: As it is duly appropriate, since the Liebster Award is about love, I am presenting it to you as a farewell present. http://parentingisfunny.wordpress.com/2012/06/01/liebster-award/

I guess I found you at the end of your goal but great job! I love #5 of things you learned…it may take 2 years to do 365 blogs 🙂 I definitely don’t blog every day. It would take me at least 3! So you did well 🙂

    • Karyl Says:

A few people are finding me at the end. That’s ok. A few times I’ve discovered a blog only to find it was over. Luckily I have two other blogs: Butterflies and Bunny Rabbits and my latest that I started today: Frosted Cookie. I hope you’ll check those out too.

      My brother loves beer! 🙂

That is great! You must love blogging 🙂 I wish I had more time for it 😦 But the time I do get to spend on it, is fun! I will definitely be checking out your other blogs!
