I remember when my son was a baby and I’d check on him just to make sure he was breathing. At night some times when I awaken, I listen to hear my husband breathing. It is such an intimate thing to listen to another person breathe in their sleep. It’s like listening to their heartbeat. It’s the little things so easily overlooked or forgotten that make a relationship between a husband and a wife so special. Listen to your spouse tonight. And cherish them.

Obviously, your hubby is a sound sleeper — not a snore-monger like uhm, well, I’m not allowed to say who, but I’m sure you can guess. 😉 When hubby is actually sleeping soundly, I do wake up & check on him to be sure he’s still breathing, cuz the brat hasn’t had a check-up in at least 8yrs so as much as he thinks he’s in perfect health, I do worry about him. Anyways, once I’m certain he’s ok, I like to give him a kiss before going back to bed — in hopes that the kiss will turn any stressful or bad dream he might be having, into something better… 😉
funny you should mention snoring. my husband snores. luckily i am a heavy sleeper and can sleep through it. very sweet about you kissing him while he’s sleeping. take care. 🙂
